Founding Team
Jonathan Teo is a seasoned leader in both technology and venture capital. As a former Managing Director at General Catalyst and a Principal at Benchmark Capital, Jonathan has been instrumental in the early-stage growth of some of the world’s most recognized technology companies. His extensive venture experience includes founding and managing Binary, a $300M early-stage venture fund with investments in companies including Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Bitfury, Blockchain.com and SpaceX. Before his work in venture capital, Jonathan was a key engineering leader at Google, where he oversaw global datacenter infrastructure and research efforts. Jonathan has also worked closely with national governments to help shape their technology ecosystems, fostering innovation and building scalable digital infrastructure. He is an inventor with multiple patents in wireless network security and a dedicated advocate for open-source, scalable and sustainable technologies. Jonathan holds a degree from Stanford University and is currently completing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Rhandeev Singh brings over two decades of deep technical expertise in large-scale infrastructure and consumer technologies. During his 17-year tenure at Google, Rhandeev played a pivotal role in the design and deployment of major consumer products, contributing to more than 300 launches. His work focused on cloud computing precursors and advanced infrastructure systems, helping to shape foundational technologies. An advocate for open-source software and ethical technology use, Rhandeev has dedicated his career to solving complex engineering challenges while fostering responsible data management practices. His early contributions to startups, alongside his technical leadership at Google, have cemented his reputation as a thought leader in the fields of machine learning, data infrastructure, and decentralized systems.
